FCL is thrilled to welcome New York Times bestselling author Katherine Center!

Described by BookPage as “the reigning queen of comfort reads,” Katherine is the author of How to Walk Away, Things You Save in a Fire, What You Wish For, and more. Her laugh-and-cry stories about resilience, love, and second chances have been praised as “satisfying in the most soul-nourishing way” by The Dallas Morning News.

Her novels have appeared on numerous Best-Of lists, including:

  • Real Simple’s Best Books of 2020
  • Amazon’s Top 100 Books of 2019
  • Goodreads Best Books of the Year
  • And many more

Her 2022 hit The Bodyguard was called “a shot of pure joy” by bestselling author Emily Henry. Two of her books have been adapted for the screen: The Lost Husband (starring Josh Duhamel), which hit #1 on Netflix, and Happiness for Beginners, now a Netflix original starring Ellie Kemper.

Katherine lives in Houston, Texas, with her husband, two kids, and their fluffy-but-fierce dog.

The Road Less Traveled Bookstore will be on site during the event with copies of Katherine Center’s books available for purchase. A book signing with the author will follow the discussion!

Generously sponsored by the Farmington Friends of the Library
