FCL Farmington Hills Auditorium

Registration not required

Learn how the library is working towards accessibility through its adult and children's collections and services. This showcase will highlight newly acquired accessibility devices awarded by a grant from the Library of Michigan and items from our Children’s Disability Support collection. Items that will be demonstrated include C-Pen Readers, OrCam readers, magnifiers, a Brailler, and more. Library staff will be available to demonstrate devices and answer questions related to accessibility and disability support. A representative from OrCam will also be available to demonstrate the OrCam readers. All are welcome to drop in between 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM to browse through our accessibility and disability support items. Light refreshments will be served.

Funding is provided in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Library of Michigan.
