Desktop computers have become incredibly powerful in the last decade. Your computer at home is capable of video chatting, preparing your taxes, writing a diary, or playing games with friends. But how do we begin using one in the first place? This program is intended to introduce the beginner/novice computer user to the basics of how to use their machine. We will cover ways to think about your computer, how to use the mouse and keyboard to interact with your computer screen, and how to familiarize ourselves with Windows 10, the “brains” of the computer.
This program assumes no prior knowledge or ownership of computers or Windows 10. Please feel free to come with questions! This program meets in the Computer Lab at FCL Farmington Hills. You do not need any device of your own to participate in this program.
