When a young family moves in nearby, he meets his match in quick-witted Marisol, leading to a friendship that will turn his world around." (Genre: Comedy/Drama; Run time: 2 hours; Rated: PG-13)

Movie Talks

Similar to a book club, except you do not have to watch the movie before you come. We will watch the movie together and afterwards the floor will be opened for discussion. You don’t have to be a professional movie critic to attend Movie Talks! This Movie Talk is for ESL patrons, and the movie may be paused throughout for questions or discussion. You are also welcome to bring your own snacks!

Based on a book

A Man Called Otto is based on the book A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman. There will be an ESL book discussion group reading A Man Called Ove in the weeks leading up to this Movie Talk. You do not need to read the book to come and enjoy the movie!
