FCL is pleased to be hosting Karen Golden for a deep-dive into the top home garden vegetables. We'll discuss how to grow each for maximum yield, including different growing methods, space constraints and disease prevention.

Ms. Golden is a Master Gardener and a Certified Landscape Horticulturist. In 1999, Karen decided to shift back to her true love, growing, and MichiganHeirlooms.com was born. Today, she sells over 30,000 organic vegetable starter plants a year to local customers out of the greenhouses located on her property in Highland, Michigan. Off-season, Ms. Golden travels around the country, giving talks and sharing her passion for organic fresh food. She is a steward of the land, the soil and the seed.
