Do you struggle with finding the time to slow down and check in with yourself? Have you heard about or tried meditation before but didn't get much out of it? That's okay! In this program, we'll work through the reasons why people find meditation difficult or boring and learn that, in fact, anyone can meditate with the right outlook and just a little bit of time to spare.
Our librarian Wes will walk us through the history of meditation, discuss some techniques for meditating that may work for you, and allow us to put those ideas into practice during a 20-minute meditation session. Come learn about this long-revered practice and, most importantly, take care of your body and mind in a safe and relaxing space!
