Amber Mitchell, Curator of Black History, at The Henry Ford, will share the historical significance and photos of The Jackson House, recently acquired by The Henry Ford. The Jackson House was the home of Dr. Sullivan Jackson and his wife Ritchie Jean. This home was a safe haven for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to strategize and plan the Selma-Montgomery marches of 1965.
