Enjoy an afternoon of World Music at FCL! Rich K. and his group "Brazil and Beyond" will play Brazilian music which is  a unique blend of European harmony and melody, African rhythms along with Native American culture.

Rich K. started "Brazil and Beyond" in 1998. He has played frequently at the Ford Detroit International Jazz Festival. Brazil and Beyond now appears at various summer festivals such as the Comerica Michigan Taste Fest, the Michigan Jazz Festival and Detroit’s Festival of the Arts. In 2004 the band played at the Marshall Field’s Day of Music at the Max and has appeared on the Mitch Albom Show numerous times. Rich K. counts among his influences, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Stéphane Grappelli, Scott LaFaro and Bill Evans.
