Enjoy an evening of Motor City music with David Rodgers! This piano concert talk will highlight music from Detroit in the 1960s, including The Temptations, The Supremes, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, and more. It will also feature cultural and historical fun facts and stories, as well as musical trivia questions.  

David Rodgers is a professional pianist who specializes in the evolution of popular music of the 20th century. David has performed Piano Concert Talks and other events for libraries, synagogues, churches, concert halls, festivals, weddings, bar mitzvahs, and corporate and personal events and parties. He is also a former K-12 music teacher and currently runs a piano studio in Oak Park, Michigan. David earned his music teaching certificate and studied piano under Ida Leshchinskaya at the University of Michigan-Flint.
