Teens and their parents/guardians are invited to attend this interactive workshop, led by local expert Dr. Phil Pittman. Teens will learn the fundamental principles, high-impact strategies, and practical tools to become more organized, prioritize effectively, manage their anxiety about difficult tasks, and build better study/work completion habits.
With a higher level of executive functioning and self-regulation skills, students will be able to remember instructions, focus their attention, and formulate then execute plans. As a result, students will experience less stress and be less likely to revert to problematic coping strategies like procrastination and avoidance.
