The legendary Mahalia Jackson wore many hats during her lifetime. She was a recording artist, a great performer, Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s favorite singer and inspiration, and she was the greatest gospel singer of her time. Her story was complex and amazing.

Detroit singer and actress Rosa Warner-Jones brings Mahalia’s story and music to life in a wonderful one-woman show, accompanied by Shane McKeever. It is a program not to be missed!
