We are pleased to host award-winning reporter and columnist, Marney Rich Keenan, author of The Snow Killings: Inside the Oakland County Child Killer Investigation.

During 1976 and 1977, four children from the affluent Detroit suburbs were abducted and held captive. Days later, their bodies were found in the snow near public roadsides. The Oakland County Child Murders spawned panic across southeast Michigan, triggering the most extensive manhunt in U.S. history. Yet after less than two years, the task force created to find the killer was shut down without naming a suspect and the case "went cold" for more than 30 years. In October 2009, Marney, reporting for the The Detroit News, broke one of the most promising leads in the case. Marney will take you inside the investigation of the still-unsolved murders. Copies of The Snow Killings will be available for purchase and signing.
