The Farmington Community Library has two locations. This event will be held in the Auditorium at our FCL Farmington Hills location at 32737 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills, MI, 48334. 

This program will be presented in-person and virtually. Registration is required to receive the Zoom meeting link.

Come Fly with Me—and take a tour of women who broke the stratospheric ceiling by being the first in space. Learn about the Mercury 13 women pilots of the 1950’s. Hear about the gravity-breaking adventures of women like Sally Ride who made it into space and who forged a path for other female astronauts to follow. Fasten your seat belts and be ready for a thrilling ride of the presentation “Women in Space: Women of Action”, plus upcoming solar eclipse information.
