Library events are always free to the public and you do not need a library card to attend! 

The Farmington Community Library has two locations. This event will be held in Conference Room A at the FCL Farmington Hills location at 32737 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills, MI 48334.

Registration Preferred

We'll meet in person to discuss Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh by Robert C. O'Brien over several weeks. You'll read 35-40 pages each week on your own, and then we'll answer questions and discuss plot developments when we meet on Wednesdays. Our last day will be December 18th. Copies of the book are available at both the FCL Farmington and FCL Farmington Hills Information Desks.

Description: Mrs. Frisby, a widowed mouse with four small children, must move her family to their summer quarters immediately, or face almost certain death. But her youngest son, Timothy, lies ill with pneumonia and must not be moved. Fortunately, she encounters the rats of NIMH, an extraordinary breed of highly intelligent creatures, who come up with a brilliant solution to her dilemma.
