Program Description

Library events are always free to the public and you do not need a library card to attend!

The Farmington Community Library has two locations. This event will be held in the Auditorium at the FCL Farmington Hills location at 32737 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills, MI 48334.

No registration is required.  

Join us for this monthly homeschool program for parents and their children. Come explore different topics and connect with fellow homeschoolers. Thinking about homeschooling?—come and learn from others. All ages welcome but the activities will be geared more to elementary age.

2025:

September 12: Block Party! Have fun with the BIG blue blocks and with many other blocks!  

October 17: Fire Safety Presentation by the Farmington Hills Fire Department

November 14: Yarn Fun—Make fun things out of yarn! Learn how to crochet! If possible, bring some yarn to use and share.   

2026:

January 9: Lego Day! Time to build, play and learn with Lego bricks! 

February 13: Heart Art! Come make fun things out of hearts!

March 13: Game Day-- Come play board games, card games and more. Bring a game from home to play with others!

April 10: STEAM Day!  Explore fun STEAM activities (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math).
