Registration Required

The Hands-On program at FCL is a technology-oriented lesson that occurs monthly in the Computer Lab at our Farmington Hills location. Hands-On is a beginner-friendly course with participation encouraged, but not required. We will be using the computers in the Lab, so no device necessary. Bring your questions!

Photos are powerful with shared with others, and Microsoft PowerPoint gives us the ability to share our photos slideshow-style, complete with transitions, narration, and musical scores. Not constrained to business meetings and school reports, PowerPoint is a great tool to present anything digitally. Join us for this Hands-On lesson on PowerPoint, and learn the basics of styling our slides with themes and backgrounds, inserting photos and other media into our project, and adding visual flare with one-click slide transitions and animations, all while working together to create a slideshow of photos.

This is a beginner-friendly course with minimal PowerPoint experience required, however patrons should be comfortable using a mouse and keyboard, as well as possessing a basic understanding of Windows 10. We will be working with library-provided photos in the demonstration project.
