Program Description

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎

Library events are always free to the public and you do not need a library card to attend!

The Farmington Community Library has two locations. This event will be held in the Computer Lab at the FCL Farmington Hills location at 32737 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills, MI, 48334.

The Hands-On program at FCL is a technology-oriented lesson that occurs monthly in the Computer Lab at our Farmington Hills location. Hands-On is a beginner-friendly course with participation encouraged, but not required. We will be using the computers in the Lab, so no device necessary. Bring your questions!

Registration is required.

Your Gmail account gives you access to much more than just an email address! Did you know that with a Gmail account, you can access the Google Workspace, a whole set of applications that allow you to create documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and more. In this session we will learn how to access Google Workspace, how to manage our files on Google Drive, and how to create and share a simple document. This program assumes basic prior knowledge of computers and using a web browser. Please feel free to come with questions!

Note: Google Workspace requires a Gmail account. We encourage you to have a Gmail account with a known password created before attending.
