Library events are always free to the public and you do not need a library card to attend! 

The Farmington Community Library has two locations. This event will be held in the Auditorium at the FCL Farmington Hills location at 32737 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills, MI, 48334.

Movie Talks

This program is similar to a book club, except you do not have to watch the movie before you come. We will watch the pre-selected movie and afterwards the floor will be opened for discussion. You don’t have to be a professional movie critic to attend Movie Talks! This will be a thoughtful environment open to all adults who have a love for watching films! You are also welcome to bring your own snacks! This program is intended for adults ages 18+ 

This month's film will be To Sleep with Anger (1990).

Synopsis: "In a towering performance, Danny Glover plays the enigmatic southern drifter Harry, a devilish charmer who turns up out of the blue on the South Central Los Angeles doorstep of his old friends. In short order, Harry’s presence seems to cast a chaotic spell on what appeared to be a peaceful household, exposing smoldering tensions between parents and children, tradition and change, virtue and temptation."
