Program Description

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎

Library events are always free to the public and you do not need a library card to attend!

The Farmington Community Library has two locations. This event will be held in the Auditorium at the FCL Farmington Hills location at 32737 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills, MI, 48334.

This program is similar to a book club, except you do not have to watch the movie before you come. We will watch the pre-selected movie and afterwards the floor will be opened for discussion. You don’t have to be a professional movie critic to attend Movie Talks! This will be a thoughtful environment open to all adults who have a love for watching films! You are also welcomed to bring your own snacks!

This month's film will be Portrait of a Lady on Fire (2019).

Synopsis: On an isolated island in Brittany at the end of the eighteenth century, a female painter is obliged to paint a wedding portrait of a young woman.

(Genre: Drama; Run time: 2 hrs. & 1 min; Rated R: some nudity and sexuality)
