Program Description
Library events are always free to the public and you do not need a library card to attend!
The Farmington Community Library has two locations. This event will be held in the Computer Lab at the FCL Farmington Hills location at 32737 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills, MI, 48334.
The Hands-On program at FCL is a technology-oriented lesson that occurs monthly in the Computer Lab at our Farmington Hills location. Hands-On is a beginner-friendly course with participation encouraged, but not required. We will be using the computers in the Lab, so no device necessary. Bring your questions!
The events of the last few years, for better or worse, introduced digital communication to a lot of us. From video calls to typing on a web page to customer support, more and more communication is done digitally these days. Join us for this Hands-On Digital Literacy program and get familiar with the most popular digital communication tools and how to use them effectively. We will cover video calls, chatrooms, social media messages, and more! This is a beginner-friendly program with minimal experience with digital communication required. We will be using the computers in the lab. Bring your questions!
